Admissions

Prospective students wishing to enroll in the Practical Nursing program need to take pre-admission test by the end of March. The cost of the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS V) entrance test is $80.00. Study materials may be purchased directly from ATI Testing. Click here to register for an upcoming test date or contact Mrs. Gibson at 304-372-7335 to schedule a time. Candidates who pass the TEAS V entrance test then fill out an application. Candidates need to submit the completed application along with a high school transcript, or GED diploma along with three (3) personal references to Mrs. Gibson.

The TOEFL exam is required for non-U.S. residents.

Once all paper work is received, the Practical Nursing Coordinator and/or faculty members will conduct a personal interview. Upon notification of acceptance, students must submit a $100.00 nonrefundable sitting fee. Click here for the complete program cost breakdown.

Classes begin in July and follow the RJTC Practical Nursing school calendar. Class hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. five days a week. Clinical hours may vary. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
