About The Program
This one-year program prepares students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field and the additional certifications and/or training required for some positions. The fast-paced curriculum covers many of the basics for these exciting careers while preparing students for clinical experiences during the second semester. The First Semester courses of Foundations of Health Science and Advanced Principles of Health Science must be completed with an 80% or higher in order for students to continue to the Second Semester courses. Second Semester courses focus on clinical experiences in healthcare settings and skills necessary for career development.

This one-year program is available only to high school seniors who have successfully completed a one-year program offered by the Center, or who are enrolled in the second year of a two-year program.
